Diamond SX is a winner

I was able to try all 5 performance level bows at home. (GREAT program btw, I highly suggest!) First, all 5 bows were clearly made with the utmost care and thought put into them, allowing the player to really find themselves physically and musically. There wasn't a bow I didn't like, but having spent time on each, I gravitated towards the SX. For me, I needed balance and weight. In addition, I liked the space for the thumb. It suits me. Not too wide, not too narrow, and not sharp or harsh feeling. Overall the, SX is an even and balanced feeling bow that provides me the ability to play different styles. My hope to is to not purchase another bow again for years.

Great bow!

I had heard about coda bows from a canoe designer(!) and years later, found myself wanting a new bow. I am a returning adult player and was ready to make a jump past the bow I used (and abused) in high school 50 years ago. Easy smooth ordering process and quick delivery. I’ve appreciated the additional tips on maintaining the bow. The bow is very responsive and light. I play both classical and blue grass and I’m enjoying the control while I go a little wild! Thanks for a great product!

Great weight for a timid player

Tried a few different bows for my daughter. She is a timid player so the worth of this bow is great for her because even though at first it is tiring, it is making her play harder. Tried the NX but since the SX is the most balanced, we decided to go with it. It does not disappoint!! Highly recommend

Delivers!!!

The Diamond SX is exactly what Coda says it is!! I tried the Diamond GX, Joule and Escent as well. My violin is over 110 yrs old with a warm rich sound. The SX, Joule and Escent all worked well with it. Personally, I preferred the balance and weight of the SX. My other violin has a much bolder tone and the Diamond GX paired with it was a powerhouse!! I think those who play a lot of fiddle and bluegrass might really enjoy the GX. Thank you Coda for the in home trial program!!!
